Maldives occasions, the place where there are islands where angels swim in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean, where the atmosphere is a dream, and the significant light emissions sun holds up to inundate you in their arms. On a recent, frigid February day, Manhasset Bay, reflecting the silver, cloud-streaked sky, was a virtual ice sheet, the swirls on its water frozen before having had the opportunity to dissipate into the indistinguishable whole-somehow symbolic of its very aviation heritage.
